## Description

Mina is a South African menstrual care brand focused on helping menstruators feel comfortable and confident during their periods. Its main product is a reusable menstrual cup made from 100% medical-grade silicone, described as hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin. Available in two sizes, the cup is designed for up to 6–12 hours of protection, including during heavier flows, swimming and exercise. Mina says it can be cleaned by hand with water or tissues and may last up to five years, offering an alternative to disposable pads and tampons. The brand also provides an online guide to using the cup and information to help customers find the right fit. Mina’s work extends beyond product sales through its foundation and donation initiative: for every cup purchased, the brand says it donates one to a menstruator in need. This effort aims to address period poverty and help girls avoid missing school because they lack menstrual products.
