MINCYT, the Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology, is dedicated to fostering a culture of science and technology in Venezuelan society. Our goal is to harmonize all individuals and institutions towards national project development. We aim to establish an endogenous production model based on a scientific, popular, and dynamic attitude. By promoting the integration of scientific and popular networks with the national productive system, we strive for technological sovereignty and independence. Our focus areas, guided by the Presidential Scientific Council, include biotechnology for agri-food, public health innovations, industrial technological developments, water sustainability, and information technology democratization. Through the democratization of knowledge and community involvement, we bring science into the daily lives of Venezuelans, prioritizing critical sectors for national progress.
