MindAfrica is a nonprofit organization that equips children, youth, and women in Nigeria with practical STEM education, digital skills, leadership development, and economic empowerment. Founded in 2006 as MIND Foundation and later rebranded as MindAfrica Leadership Initiative, it was created to address gaps in access, knowledge, and opportunity in underserved communities.

MindAfrica provides STEM and digital learning experiences for children that encourage curiosity, creativity, and hands on exploration through robotics, maker projects, coding, and foundational digital literacy programs. These programs help children build confidence, develop problem solving skills, and explore technology.

For youth, MindAfrica offers leadership development, mentorship, employability skills, and digital training that help young people prepare for the future of work. Through initiatives like the School Maker Faire, Girls in ICT programs, educator training, digital labs, and the GROW program, MindAfrica has reached thousands of participants and hundreds of educators and volunteers. Programs are practical, accessible, and designed to connect learning with real opportunities.

MindAfrica partners with schools, communities, development organizations, and private sector stakeholders to deliver inclusive and relevant programs. Its mission is to bridge educational, digital, and economic divides, equipping children, youth, and women with the skills, character, and confidence needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.
