## Description

Mindful Psychiatry is the professional platform of Dr. Jose Calderon-Abbo, a psychiatrist specializing in addiction medicine and mind-body medicine. It shares his work in integrative psychiatry, sustainable recovery, public health, and climate-related behavioral health. Dr. Calderon created and co-founded Mind-Body Medicine-Recovery (MBM-R), a holistic life program designed to help people change their relationship with substances or behaviors and address co-occurring conditions. The site highlights MBM-R resources, including modules described as forthcoming, as well as mind-body medicine recovery groups and trainings offered through Imagine Recovery.

Mindful Psychiatry also offers consultation to clinicians, healthcare organizations, and industry partners on clinical practice, healthcare administration and quality, and climate change adaptation and resilience. Dr. Calderon brings more than 25 years of experience across clinical care, health system operations, education, and policy. He is Medical Director at Imagine Recovery in New Orleans, an associate professor of clinical psychiatry at LSU, and senior faculty at the Center for Mind-Body Medicine.
