## Description

Mind Medicine Australia is a charity that aims to alleviate the suffering caused by mental illness in Australia by expanding the available treatment options. They are focused on the development of safe and effective psychedelic-assisted therapies to cure a range of mental illnesses. Through their work, they seek to provide access to psychedelic-assisted therapies in medically controlled environments for everyone in need. Their achievements include being the first country in the world to reschedule psilocybin and MDMA as medicines, securing $15 million in federal government funding for innovative therapies, supporting clinical trials, training over 240 therapists, and hosting over 250 events to raise awareness about psychedelic-assisted therapies. Mind Medicine Australia also offers services such as legal psychedelic medicine centers, psychedelic-assisted therapies, and medicine supply. They have secured a supply agreement with Optimi Health for affordable access to GMP grade medicines for clinical trials and the TGA's Authorized Prescriber Scheme. Additionally, they provide educational resources and support through their learning platform, educational slides, important resources, and awareness initiatives. Overall, Mind Medicine Australia is dedicated to promoting the development and accessibility of psychedelic-assisted therapies to improve mental health outcomes for individuals in Australia.
