## Description

Mindseye develops open, research-focused instrumentation for electrical impedance tomography (EIT) and bioimpedance spectroscopy, aiming to make experimental imaging tools more accessible. Its featured product, Spectra, is a compact, configurable impedance measurement device designed for precise measurements and hands-on investigation. The system supports impedance time-series recording, bioimpedance spectroscopy, and EIT using 8, 16, or 32 electrodes. It includes temperature and resistance calibration, onboard firmware modes, and safety features designed to remove direct current from measurements.

Spectra works with open-source software for data collection and analysis, including real-time image reconstruction using Graz Consensus, Gauss-Newton, and Back Projection methods. Users can also record data for offline analysis, reprogram the firmware, and adapt the software for their own applications. The product kit includes a pre-tested circuit board, a small tank phantom with a flexible electrode array, an electrode expansion adapter, cables, and a custom enclosure. Mindseye shares tutorials and supports community discussion and collaboration through its online resources. Spectra is intended for research and experimentation, not medical diagnosis.
