## Description

C.V. De Mineurs is a carnival association based in Maastricht, serving the Brusselse Poort, St. Annadal, Daalhof and surrounding areas. Its motto, “Oet de Werreke vaan Mestreech,” reflects its roots in the city and its role in local carnival life. The association brings members and residents together through seasonal celebrations, social activities and collaborations with other groups. Its programme includes events such as the annual 11th-of-the-11th celebration, a paper collection, the Haozendans in Blauwdörp and Mariaberg, and a gathering connected with Maastricht’s song competition. De Mineurs also shares carnival songs, including a Maastricht carnival song and a youth song, and welcomes people interested in becoming members. The association’s website features information about its history, board, members, activities and partnerships, as well as its Marketensters and Drapodregers. Supported by local sponsors and businesses, C.V. De Mineurs helps sustain a lively, community-focused carnival tradition in Maastricht. The association can be reached at Haozendansplein 23, with contact details and social media links available on its website.
