Ministry of Stories is an innovative brand that inspires children and young people to unlock their creative potential through writing. Co-founded in 2010 by author Nick Hornby, their mission is to champion the writer in every child. Through a range of writing programs and small group mentoring, Ministry of Stories helps young people discover their confidence, imagination, and potential.

Their community writing labs offer free after-school workshops for children aged 6-15 where they can explore their creativity and develop their writing skills. These labs take place behind a secret door at Hoxton Street Monster Supplies, creating a fun and safe space for young writers. Ministry of Stories also works in partnership with schools and teachers in East London to inspire young people to learn and grow through storytelling.

With the help of over 200 trained volunteers, Ministry of Stories nurtures the imaginations of young writers and ensures their voices are heard. Through their publishing platforms, they provide opportunities for these young authors to share their work with the world.
