Minnesota Recovery Connection (MRC) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals in their journey towards long-term recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. As a Recovery Community Organization, MRC mobilizes resources within and outside of the recovery community to promote the prevalence and quality of recovery. MRC offers free, on-demand peer recovery support services, including one-to-one coaching, telephone support, and recovery navigation.

These services are available to anyone who needs help, and partnerships with various organizations help remove barriers to recovery. With over a decade of experience, MRC provides public education programs that help individuals utilize their own lived experiences with substance use disorder and recovery to assist others. Programs like recovery coach training and stigma-breaking events like the Walk for Recovery strengthen the recovery community.

Advocacy is another important aspect of MRC's work. Through public policy initiatives and events such as Recovery Day on the Hill, they strive to elevate recovery voices and promote self-efficacy, parity, equity, and compassion in the recovery process. MRC envisions a society where everyone understands that substance use disorder is a medical condition and recovery is possible.
