## Description

The Minnesota Running Club is a student group at the University of Minnesota for runners, sprinters, and field event athletes of all abilities. Members meet regularly for workouts and runs, and there are no experience or pace requirements, making the club welcoming to beginners and experienced athletes alike. Daily runs take place Monday through Thursday at 5:30 p.m. and Friday at 4:30 p.m. at Cooke Hall, with groups organized for different distances and paces. The club also offers distance, sprint, and field event workouts two to three times a week.

For members who want to compete, an optional race team participates in cross country and indoor and outdoor track and field, competing against other club teams and NCAA Division II and III schools. Competition is encouraged but not required. The club also organizes social activities that help members connect beyond training, including a summer volleyball league and monthly study nights. Members can stay in touch through weekly emails, Discord, Instagram, Spotify, and Strava.
