## Description

The Minocqua Marketplace is an innovative online platform born from the Minocqua Brewing Company, a socially-conscious brewery situated in Northern Wisconsin. Founded by Kirk Bangstad in response to the growing authoritarian climate following the 2024 election, this marketplace functions as an economic collective aimed at empowering progressive consumers. The mission is to support small businesses that align with democratic values while providing a space for products that reflect community ideals.

Shoppers can explore a diverse range of offerings, from eco-friendly apparel and handmade goods to wellness products and local foods. The marketplace emphasizes collaboration with businesses owned by marginalized communities, including women, LGBTQIA individuals, and BIPOC entrepreneurs. Customers can find everything from graphic tees and home décor to beauty products and outdoor gear. With a commitment to sustainability and ethical practices, the Minocqua Marketplace invites consumers to engage in a progressive shopping experience that not only meets their needs but also supports a larger socio-political cause.
