## Description

MINT-EC is Germany’s national excellence network for secondary schools with a strong focus on mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology (MINT). It connects schools, students, teachers and school leaders, supporting high-quality STEM education through a broad programme of events, learning opportunities and professional development.

For students, MINT-EC offers camps, competitions, online events, career and study guidance, and opportunities to explore subjects and future pathways. Initiatives include the MINT-EC Future Forum, Digital Insights, MINT-ECho and the MINT-EC Certificate, which recognises engagement and achievement in STEM. The network also provides activities for alumni and promotes exchange with universities, companies and other partners.

Teachers can take part in professional development, subject-focused exchange and thematic clusters, while school leaders are supported through conferences and advisory programmes. MINT-EC also shares publications, resources and information for its member schools. Through its network and partnerships, the organisation helps young people discover STEM fields and supports schools in developing and strengthening their STEM profiles.
