Volkssterrenwacht Mira is a non-profit astronomical observatory located in Grimbergen, Belgium, founded in 1967 by Father Pieraerts. Initially situated within the abbey buildings, Mira has expanded significantly since 2000, becoming a popular destination for astronomy enthusiasts. Each year, it attracts thousands of visitors through group tours, open days, and individual visits, fostering a community passionate about the universe.
