## Description

The Confraternita di Misericordia della Bassa Friulana ODV is a volunteer-based charitable organization serving the communities of San Giorgio di Nogaro and Flambro di Talmassons. Founded in 1985, it belongs to the wider Misericordie movement and is guided by a commitment to charity, human dignity, health, and support for people experiencing hardship or isolation. Its work includes social and healthcare transport, assistance at public events, and the provision of healthcare equipment. The organization also offers courses, including first-aid training, and diagnostic testing services. Beyond these services, it runs community initiatives and aid projects, such as food collections, support for migrants in transit in Trieste, school-based first-aid education, and international projects in Guatemala. Its activities also include events, educational encounters, and local wellbeing initiatives. The organization welcomes volunteers and invites community members to support its work through donations and Italy’s five-per-thousand tax contribution. With locations in San Giorgio di Nogaro and Flambro, the Confraternita combines practical assistance with community engagement and solidarity.
