## Description

Missouri Skies is a personal website created by Dan Bush, based in Albany, Missouri, and dedicated to his lifelong interest in observing and photographing the changing skies over the state. Established online in 1997, the site reflects more than four decades of experience in the hobby and promotes the enjoyment and beauty of sky watching in Missouri.

Visitors can explore recent images, weather and sky data, and information about the site’s observatory and telescopes. The collection includes an all-sky camera, special-event galleries, prairie scenes, rainbows, aurora and airglow, and coverage of Solar Cycle 25. Missouri Skies also offers organized photographic contact sheets spanning 2020 through 2025, alongside portfolio and research sections. The website connects audiences with additional images and updates through its PBase and Zenfolio galleries, YouTube channel, Instagram, Facebook, and blog. It also provides a calendar and invites visitors to report meteors. Missouri Skies serves as an independent resource for people interested in Missouri’s weather, skies, and astronomical events, with images and content credited to Bush.
