## Description

**Miss Read** is a dynamic platform at the intersection of art and publishing, founded in 2009 in Berlin. This vibrant initiative is dedicated to fostering a community around artists’ books and conceptual publications, advocating for the acknowledgment of publishing as both an artistic and political practice. The highlight of their mission is the annual **Berlin Art Book Fair**, which gathers a diverse array of artists, publishers, and periodicals. Visitors can explore intriguing exhibitions alongside a rich program of lectures, discussions, and workshops that challenge conventional notions of publishing.

Emphasizing egalitarian principles, Miss Read provides equal exhibition space for all participants, from established publishers to emerging zine creators. Beyond the fair, Miss Read is committed to nurturing global artistic communities and actively participates in international art book fairs, while also producing their own publications and radio programs. With a strong focus on decolonization and inclusivity, Miss Read continues to redefine the landscape of contemporary publishing and serve as a vital meeting ground for dialogue and creative expression.
