## Description

Miwok 100K is an annual trail-running event held in the Marin Headlands near San Francisco, with its start and finish at Stinson Beach. Presented by The North Face, the race invites experienced runners to tackle 62 miles of demanding trails, more than 11,000 feet of elevation gain, and changing coastal conditions. The event also offers a 100K relay, bringing teams into the challenge. Runners receive a marked course, staffed aid stations with professional medical care, a finisher award, and race-related apparel and other goodies. The Miwok community supports participants through race information, volunteer opportunities, and resources for crews and pacers. Its organizers emphasize responsible trail use: the event has operated as a cup-less, low-waste race since 2013 and supports land stewardship and broader access to trail running through its Bridge to Trails Initiative. Volunteers help deliver race-day support and may earn priority registration for the following year by volunteering at least eight hours. Miwok also shares race results, course details, and event photography with its community.
