## Description

MiXTEATRO is a creative project platform bringing together theatre, dance, science, and new technologies. Its work is guided by the ideas of “here, now, together,” with a focus on developing cultural projects and initiatives that connect artistic expression with public engagement and learning. The site features proposals, news, and a blog whose topics often inspire performances or projects in development. These include astronomy, space exploration, mathematics, environmental respect, and the lives of influential figures in science and the arts. Examples include “Viaggio tra linee e punti... di vista,” a theatre text inspired by Edwin A. Abbott’s Flatland, and projects drawing on works by Bertolt Brecht, Jean Giono, and Ray Bradbury. MiXTEATRO also explores movement and creative bodies, and has shared work involving archival materials, including a 2025 initiative in Venice. The platform welcomes ideas and proposals from people organizing theatre events or public-engagement activities, suggesting a collaborative approach to creating and sharing cultural experiences.
