## Description

Liz Schmuck, operating as MJ Pawtography, is an award-winning dog photographer based in Geneseo, Illinois, serving the Quad Cities in Iowa and Illinois, as well as the Chicago metropolitan area. Her work focuses on creating expressive photographs that reflect each dog’s individual personality, combining creative vision, photographic skill, professional retouching, and finished artwork.

Liz offers outdoor portrait sessions at carefully selected local parks and other locations, along with studio photography. Sessions are designed to be comfortable and safe for dogs: she uses force-free, positive reinforcement methods, treats and rewards, and prioritizes each pet’s wellbeing. Dogs can remain leashed during sessions, with leashes removed in editing, and sessions can accommodate multiple pets. Liz also takes part in community events, including seasonal offerings such as Santa Paws at QCAWC.

Clients can explore portrait collections and choose from photographs and artwork, including options for printing and framing. The process includes planning support, guidance on locations and session details, and help understanding product choices before booking.
