The new Whistleblowing Law imposes significant obligations on businesses to establish a reporting system for abuses. Starting from September 2023, the maximum amount of fines imposed by the Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH) will increase to 13% of the company's net revenue. The Whistleblowing Law now requires companies with at least 50 employees to establish a reporting system.
