## Description

Magyar Kereskedelmi és Vendéglátóipari Múzeum (MKVM) is a unique brand that offers a fascinating glimpse into the history of trade and hospitality in Hungary. With its permanent and temporary exhibitions, as well as virtual and traveling displays, MKVM showcases the development and evolution of Hungarian commerce over the past two centuries. Visitors can explore the world of measurements, the bustling marketplaces, and the art of hosting guests in 19th and 20th-century home and professional settings. The museum also pays tribute to influential figures such as Gerbeaud Emil, a renowned confectioner and chocolate factory owner, and Krúdy, a beloved Hungarian writer. Additionally, MKVM features a larder of forgotten retail tools, unique advertising materials, and exhibits on the art of commercial signage. The museum offers various programs, including guided tours, gastronomy events, concerts, and film screenings. With its dedicated museum educators and digital resources, MKVM provides enriching experiences for both adults.
