## Description

The Maritime Museum of British Columbia is a cultural institution dedicated to witnessing and preserving maritime heritages. With a stunning waterfront location in Victoria, the museum offers a variety of engaging products and services. Visitors can explore the exhibits to experience British Columbia's marine heritage and learn about maritime history through unique and creative evening talks and craft workshops. Educational programs cover topics such as immigration, pirates and privateers, women at sea, and the fur trade. The museum's larger exhibit space and gift shop, located at 744 Douglas St., provide a vibrant and immersive experience. The museum also values inclusion, respect, integrity, and innovation, making it a welcoming and dynamic institution. As part of their community outreach, the museum offers free programming to vulnerable and marginalized groups in the Greater Victoria region, fostering a sense of belonging and well-being.
