Meyer Memorial Trust is a brand dedicated to accelerating racial, social, and economic justice for the well-being of Oregon's lands and peoples. As one of the largest private funders in Oregon, Meyer commits its resources and energy to promote a flourishing and equitable Oregon. With assets totaling approximately $1 billion, the trust has awarded grants and program-related investments exceeding $930 million to over 3,500 organizations since its establishment in 1982.

Meyer's grantmaking focuses on four priority areas: Building Community, Equitable Education, Healthy Environment, and Housing Opportunities. They distribute funding through an Annual Funding Opportunity across various issues-based portfolios. In 2020, Meyer launched their largest initiative to date: Justice Oregon for Black Lives, a five-year, $25 million effort aimed at deepening their commitment to racial justice and investing in the lives of Black Oregonians.

Meyer recently announced their intention to incorporate more trust-based principles, policies, and practices in their funding process and structure. Guided by a new mission, Meyer uses an anti-racist feminist lens to strengthen movements, change systems, and support communities in building an Oregon that works for all.
