## Description

Mockuuups started in Prague in 2014 when two designers got tired of the Photoshop mockup workflow. They grabbed a camera, headed to the park, and photographed themselves holding phones. Four mockups on Dribbble got 10,000+ responses.

In 2016, they launched the Mockuuups Studio desktop app as an alternative to Photoshop smart objects. In 2019, the Figma plugin changed everything, giving designers access to mockups without leaving their workflow.

Mockuuups is bootstrapped and run by co-founders David Stefanides (design) and Marek Hrabe (development). A small team of talented collaborators supports content creation, photography, and copywriting.

The library includes device mockups (iPhone, Android, MacBook, iPad, Apple Watch, desktop monitors, TVs) and print mockups (business cards, posters, books, paper). New scenes are added monthly based on user requests.

Mockuuups integrates with Figma, Sketch, Adobe Express, and Frontify. There's also a desktop app and browser-based generator. The Studio feature lets users customize scenes as if shooting in a real photo studio.

The company licenses mockup scenes from photographers worldwide for authentic environments beyond Prague, while still shooting original content and processing everything in-house.

Bootstrapped since day one. No investors, no ads. Designers find Mockuuups through the Figma plugin and organic search.
