## Description

Mönchengladbacher Sportschützen e.V. is a sports shooting club in Mönchengladbach, Germany, welcoming people interested in developing their skills and sharing a sporting hobby. The club presents shooting as an activity for all ages, combining precision, concentration, technical practice and competition with enjoyment and community. Members train and compete across a range of disciplines, following the German Shooting Federation’s rules at local, district and state levels. The club is affiliated with the Rheinischer Schützenbund e.V.

Alongside sporting achievement, the club values friendship, mutual support and the exchange of experience. Its focus is on sports shooting rather than traditional festivities such as shooting festivals and processions, which it leaves to other local associations. Prospective members can arrange a trial training session to meet the club and learn more. Training takes place at the Rheindahlen shooting facility, Geusenstraße 33, in the basement of the gymnasium. Regular sessions are held Thursdays from 7:30 p.m. and on the first and third Saturdays from 1 p.m., with appointments arranged in advance.
