## Description

Missouri Abortion Fund (MOAF) is an organization dedicated to supporting Missouri residents who need reproductive health services, especially abortion care. Its mission combines public education with practical assistance for people unable to afford the full cost of an abortion. MOAF provides financial support through abortion providers, coordinating with clinic partners in neighboring states and across the country to help Missourians access care. Residents scheduling an abortion can ask their clinic about funding; clinics without an existing partnership may contact the fund to discuss assistance. There is no income requirement to receive support, and donated funds are allocated through providers to reduce the burden on patients. In addition to financial assistance, MOAF shares information and resources, invites community members to donate or volunteer, and offers branded merchandise through its shop. The organization also publishes email updates and works to keep abortion in public conversation. Formerly known as Gateway Women’s Access Fund, MOAF is a member of the National Network of Abortion Funds.
