## Description

Molecular JE is a student-run junior enterprise founded in 2017 within the Department of Chemistry at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra. Its mission is to improve the public image and recognition of chemistry by communicating its value as a fundamental natural science. The organisation develops projects and initiatives that encourage curiosity about chemistry, particularly among primary and secondary school students in Portugal. Its activities include the Escola Molecular, a learning programme introducing young people to chemistry, and the Molecular Podcast, which explores science. Molecular JE also provides practical services for individuals and organisations. These include workshops on scientific software such as ChemDraw, Origin, GraphPad, MarvinSketch, MestreNova and Zotero; physics and chemistry tutoring for lower-secondary and secondary students, including practical activities in a controlled laboratory setting; and scientific illustration for materials such as magazine covers, theses and posters. Based at the University of Coimbra, Molecular JE brings together students at undergraduate, master’s and doctoral levels, combining scientific knowledge with education, communication and creative project work.
