## Description

The Ramon Molinas Foundation (RMF) is a foundation based in Barcelona that works to advance the progress of individuals and society through scientific, technological and social initiatives. Its activities focus on education and research, as well as support for people and communities experiencing social disadvantage.

Through scholarships and awards, RMF helps university students and graduates expand their knowledge and develop their potential. The foundation also creates, supports and participates in projects intended to reduce inequality and assist people at risk of social exclusion. Its work includes initiatives in progress and completed programs, alongside public events, publications and news sharing information about its activities.

One example is A So de Mar, an RMF initiative that accompanies older people in vulnerable circumstances on adapted maritime outings, in collaboration with Club Marítimo Castelldefels and Fundació Roure. The foundation also recognizes projects with social impact through the Ramón Molinas Award. Overall, RMF combines investment in future talent with practical community action, seeking to contribute to a more inclusive society through education, research and partnerships.
