EarthEcho International is a nonprofit organization founded in 2005 by Philippe and Alexandra Cousteau, aimed at fostering a global youth movement for the protection and restoration of our ocean planet. With a vision for an equitable world where individuals can create thriving environments, EarthEcho mobilizes over 2 million participants across 146 countries. 

The organization engages youth through engaging programs like the EarthEcho Water Challenge, which empowers participants to monitor their local waterways and develop projects aimed at preserving water resources. The OurEcho Challenge encourages middle school students to actively protect biodiversity by proposing innovative solutions to local environmental challenges. Additionally, EarthEcho Academy provides educators with essential resources and training to inspire students in environmental literacy and stewardship.
