## Description

Monster Ranch is a free-to-play, browser-based monster-training RPG that brings a retro-inspired world to desktop and tablet browsers without requiring a download. Players create a trainer, choose from a range of starter monsters, and explore zones, complete quests, and earn loot. Creatures have distinct stats and elements, can level up and evolve, and can be assembled into teams with specialised roles.

The game features turn-based battles with status effects, terrain bonuses, and skill synergies, offering strategic choices for both newcomers and experienced players. Trainers can battle NPCs and other players, while trading and crafting help them optimise their teams. Monster Ranch describes its progression as play-focused, with optional purchases for cosmetics and convenience rather than pay-to-win stat advantages.

The core experience is available for free, and players can connect through the community on Discord and Facebook. Monster Ranch is currently in beta; ranked seasons and casual PvP matches are in development. Native iOS and Android versions are also being developed, while the game remains playable in modern browsers.
