# Montrose Burns Club - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `montroseburnsclub.com` ## Description Montrose Burns Club is a Scottish heritage organisation dedicated to celebrating the life, works and legacy of national poet Robert Burns. Founded in 1909, the club held its first festival at Montrose’s Central Hotel and has continued to commemorate Burns through gatherings, cultural activities and community projects. Its work connects local history with the poet’s wider place in Scottish culture, while highlighting his links to the North East of Scotland. A central project is the Robert Burns Heritage Trail, which identifies places of interest between Montrose and Stonehaven. Stainless-steel plaques with QR codes guide visitors to information on the sites and their associations with Burns. The club’s website supports the trail with historical details and updates, helping residents and visitors explore the area’s heritage. The organisation also shares Burns-related resources and promotes events, including its annual Burns Supper, memorial commemorations and school poetry and creative arts activities. It collaborates with local speakers, performers, schools and sponsors to keep the tradition alive. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Holidays and Seasonal Events _(under Community and Society)_ - 🍿 Arts and Entertainment - 🍿 Books and Literature _(under Arts and Entertainment)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idLm2NQG-l/w/135/h/163/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791930270879) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Persian Green | #00aaa2 | accent | | Bottle Green | #0c502c | dark | | Di Serria | #db9b58 | light | ## Fonts - Poppins — asset _(google)_ - Open Sans — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
