## Description

Mooij Onderzoek is the independent research and writing practice of Annet Mooij, a researcher and author born in 1961. Established in 1998 as a sole proprietorship, the practice focuses on historical research, nonfiction literature, biographies and editorial work. Its services support clients seeking rigorous research and clear, carefully developed writing. Mooij Onderzoek has worked for a varied group of cultural, public-sector, health and media organisations, including Amsterdam UMC (formerly AMC), the Amsterdam Municipal Health Service, the Amsterdam City Archives, the Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, and the Netherlands Institute for War Documentation. Other clients include the AIDS Fund, the Council for Culture, the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment, the Prince Bernhard Culture Fund, the Volkskrant Foundation and the Dutch magazine De Groene Amsterdammer. Annet Mooij also writes books; her most recent, Alles gaat op vroeger terug – Ischa Meijer (1943–1995), was published in autumn 2023.
