## Description

Moonrise Photo is the photography business of Patricia Gillespie, a Vancouver Island wedding and elopement photographer based in Port Alberni. Serving Vancouver Island and British Columbia since 2014, Patricia has photographed more than 300 weddings. Her documentary-style approach focuses on genuine, unscripted moments, while keeping the experience intentional, playful, and relaxed.

Moonrise Photo offers photography for weddings, elopements, engagements, couples, and adventure sessions. Shoots can take place in settings ranging from beaches and forests to mountain trails and other favourite West Coast locations. Patricia helps clients feel at ease and aims to create images that reflect their personalities and the way their day actually felt, rather than relying solely on posed pictures.

The business is committed to celebrating diverse love stories and welcoming people of all identities, body types, and abilities. Patricia draws on her connection to Vancouver Island’s outdoors and her experience exploring its landscapes to help couples plan sessions off the beaten path.
