## Description

Moonrock Insurance is a specialist provider of drone and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) insurance for hobbyist, commercial and enterprise operators. Founded to address the insurance needs of emerging aviation, the company develops cover around the specific risks and realities of unmanned flight rather than adapting traditional aviation products. Moonrock is authorised and regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority, with insurance capacity backed by Lloyd’s of London and leading reinsurance markets.

Its solutions include flexible policies for recreational flyers and weekend creators, as well as hull and liability protection for commercial fleets and activities such as inspection, filming and agricultural operations. Moonrock also works with UK and international brokers, offering specialist underwriting support and access to a digital platform. Its approach considers missions, operating environments, procedures and regulatory requirements, with coverage designed to adapt as aviation rules evolve.

The company provides technically informed claims handling for UAV hardware and software incidents, aiming for fair and timely outcomes.
