## Description

Moonshine is a global club music platform and events brand that celebrates sounds originating from or inspired by Africa and the African diaspora. Its signature parties take place in Montreal and internationally, with events in cities including Paris, Brussels and Santiago. The gatherings bring together local and international DJs, musicians and other artists for late-night programs built around a wide-ranging mix of styles, including afrohouse, amapiano, rumba, baile funk, batida, coupé décalé, gqom, jungle, house, bouyon, kompa, kuduro and techno. Moonshine events offer advance and door tickets, with pricing and entry conditions varying by event. The brand also presents pop-up shops featuring its latest clothing capsule, including events in Santiago and Rio de Janeiro. Through its music programming and cultural events, Moonshine creates spaces for global club sounds and emphasizes an inclusive environment, stating that racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and other forms of discrimination are not tolerated. Its recurring gatherings are described as taking place on the first Saturday after the full moon.
