## Description

Moonshot is a pioneering brand that was founded in 2015 to address one of the most critical challenges faced by communities worldwide: violent extremism. Through their experience collaborating with governments, tech companies, and communities, they recognized a significant gap in tackling this deadly issue. They realized that the successful approaches used offline to combat the underlying causes of violent extremism were not being effectively applied online, where extremist propagandists and recruiters targeted vulnerable individuals. To bridge this gap, Moonshot developed cutting-edge technology and solutions. Over time, they expanded their scope to include disrupting disinformation networks, gender-based violence, child sexual abuse, exploitation, and organized crime. As a social impact business, Moonshot reinvests in research and development, pushing the boundaries of their tech and building evidence for new methodologies. With a team of expert analysts and software developers, they work with global brands, governments, NGOs, and tech companies to deliver evidence-based solutions at scale. Moonshot remains dedicated to making the internet a safer place for everyone.
