## Description

Moree Show Society organizes the Moree Show, an annual community event serving the Moree district since 1874. Its purpose is to promote agriculture and showcase the abilities of local residents through exhibits and competitions, while offering entertainment for visitors of all ages. The Society’s 141st Annual Show is scheduled for Friday 23 and Saturday 24 April 2027.

The program spans agricultural and community activities, including horse, cattle, wool and poultry sections, along with yard dog trials. Visitors can also take part in or enjoy a Ute Show and Shine, a pet show, and competitions for Young Woman and Junior Young Woman. Rodeo, demolition derby and novelty events add to the entertainment, complemented by a large contingent of sideshows. The Pavilion Sections and Events and Competitions are key parts of the Show’s offering, while sponsors support the event. Through its annual gathering, Moree Show Society brings together exhibitors, competitors, families and the wider district to celebrate local skills, agriculture and community life.
