MotMot Coffee is a brand that partners with coffee co-operatives, focusing on economic, product quality, and community development. What sets us apart is that we pay premiums higher than Fair Trade and establish a personal connection with farmers and co-op management. Our vertically integrated supply chain ensures that no middlemen take a percentage of the money earned by farmers.

Our story begins with the connection between Nicaraguan coffee co-ops and Seattle University during the coffee crisis in 2003. Over the years, we have expanded our network, involving Universidad de Centro Americana - Managua and purchasing our first batch of coffee in 2015. Since then, we have experienced substantial growth, doubling sales year over year.

In 2018, MotMot explored coffee production in Vietnam and partnered with the ethical co-operative coffee collective called Married Beans. This partnership enabled us to bring premium Vietnamese coffee, known as Tâm, to the Seattle area. Tâm, meaning "heart" or "center" in Vietnamese, reflects our philosophy of living life aligned with our heart in our actions.

MotMot Coffee is proud to be associated with the Albers School of Business at Seattle University. Through internships and recruiting young professionals, we are committed to fostering responsible and ethical business leaders for the future.
