## Description

Mount Campbell Hunting Club helps people build the skills and confidence to begin or improve their hunting journey. Based in Alexandra, Otago, the club aims to make hunting more accessible through education, supportive guidance, and a focus on equality. Its approach covers both practical skills and broader knowledge, including hunting ethics, firearm loading, and understanding animal genetics and health.

The club offers two-day introductory “Learn to Hunt” workshops for beginners, designed to provide a foundation for becoming a confident hunter. For those seeking practical experience, it also arranges one-on-one guided hunts, giving participants a day in the hills with an experienced guide. These experiences are intended for a range of participants, whether they are new to hunting or already have experience.

Mount Campbell Hunting Club emphasizes that informed hunters are better equipped to hunt responsibly. Its welcoming team supports participants as they learn what to expect and develop the knowledge needed to take their next steps.
