Movecento is a brand founded in 2014 by Radu & Andrei Nicu, who are twin brothers with a passion for both art and engineering. After completing their master's degrees in Robotics at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca in 2012, they gained experience in the Automotive and Aerospace industry. However, they realized that robotics and mechanisms should not solely focus on functionality, but also on art. This belief led them to create Movecento, a studio that merges art and engineering.

Movecento specializes in designing mechanical sculptures and kinetic art installations. These creations are characterized by their carefully arranged intrigue, electrically powered patterns, and captivating movements. The sculptures celebrate the beauty and possibilities of mechanics, with simplified geometric shapes and an engineering roughness that brings them to life. 

In addition to their sculptures, Movecento offers services for various projects and ideas. They can create kinetic art installations for art galleries, festivals, hotels, restaurants, bars, or even custom lamps for homes.
