## Description

The World Movement for Democracy is a global network uniting civil society activists, scholars, parliamentarians, and more in the pursuit of advancing democracy worldwide. Since 1999, we have fostered connections among democracy advocates and hosted impactful discussions and workshops across various regions. Our mission is to empower democracy movements by promoting cross-regional solidarity, knowledge sharing, and collaborative strategies. We welcome all who align with the principles outlined in our Founding Statement to join us. Through the World Movement for Democracy, participants benefit from networking with like-minded individuals facing similar challenges. Our initiatives include the #SetThemFree Campaign, promoting civic space, supporting emerging leaders, and fostering democratic leadership. Join us in building a global community of democratic champions. For more information, visit our website or connect with us on social media. Let's shape the future of democracy together.
