## Description

Movement Paris is a movement-training practice inspired by Movement Culture, the approach developed by Israeli teacher Ido Portal. Its teaching aims to develop physical and mental abilities through a broad, integrated exploration of how the body moves. Rather than focusing on one sport or specialised technique, training draws on shared principles found across disciplines including martial arts, yoga, dance and gymnastics, with the goal of helping people gain greater understanding and control of their bodies.

The practice is led by Gianni Locarini, a movement and judo teacher and former high-level competitor in judo and sambo. His background includes professional qualifications in judo, fitness instruction, mental preparation and sport and health. After discovering Movement Culture in 2016, he continued his learning through independent study and training with Ido Portal and members of his team in Europe and Asia. He continues to practise and develop his teaching. Movement Paris offers instruction in this holistic movement approach, including locomotion as one of its themes, for people interested in developing their movement capacities.
