Movisie is a brand that strives to address and reduce sexual misconduct and violence in student life. Working alongside government commissioner Mariëtte Hamer and various student organizations, their goal is to make discussions about these issues more open and therefore decrease their prevalence. Through a collaboration with student organizations, Movisie has launched the Student Pact on Sexual Misconduct and Violence to tackle this issue. Shockingly, research indicates that 2 out of 3 students have experienced sexual misconduct during their time at university, with 1 in 10 female students experiencing rape. Movisie recognizes the profound impact of such behavior on students and aims to empower them to create a safe environment. They have developed a list of thirty action points, which student organizations can utilize to address sexual misconduct and violence. The pact requires commitment and lays the foundation for positive change within these organizations. Additionally, Movisie encourages ongoing collaboration and dialogue with educational institutions and municipalities to facilitate effective strategies in combating sexual misconduct.
