## Description

Meals on Wheels Orange County is a community nonprofit serving older adults and their families in Orange County, California. For more than 58 years, the organization has worked to reduce hunger, malnutrition, and isolation while supporting seniors’ wellness, purpose, and dignity. Its programs help older adults maintain connection and, where possible, continue living in the homes and communities they love.

Services include home-delivered meals and Lunch Cafés, providing nutritious food to homebound and socially isolated seniors. The organization says its volunteers and staff deliver three nutritious, heart-healthy meals a day, five days a week. Adult Day Services offer safe supervision and therapies for adults with health issues or mental or physical challenges, helping families remain together. Friendly Visitors and Friendly Callers provide companionship and regular social contact through visits or calls at home. Additional offerings include CHOICE case management and in-home services, along with volunteer opportunities and a Holiday Gift Program.
