## Description

MPG Wildlife is a brand dedicated to the conservation and stewardship of over 15,000 acres of pristine landscapes in Western Montana. As stewards of this vast wildlife habitat, MPG Ranch conducts vital research and collaborates with local organizations and researchers to create outreach and public education events. With a focus on restoration and ecology, their team strives to restore lands affected by invasive weeds and other disturbances, ensuring the protection of these lands for future generations. MPG Wildlife works closely with local conservation groups and researchers to offer educational opportunities for students of all ages, from educational tours of the ranch to teaching college courses and hiring interns. Their mission is to promote conservation through restoration, research, education, and information sharing. Through sponsorship of scientists, MPG Ranch supports restoration efforts and aims to understand the ecology of organisms from microbes to mammals and trees. With 34 peer-reviewed scientific publications in the past five years, their research efforts contribute to the wealth of knowledge in the field. Acquired from the Schroeder family in 2009, MPG Ranch recognizes the important history of the land and collaborates with the family to understand how the ranch was managed over time. MPG Wildlife is committed to providing employment opportunities to individuals with science and restoration backgrounds, accepting resumes from interested candidates. While hunting is a priority tool in managing elk and white-tailed deer populations at MPG Ranch, public hunting opportunities are secondary to population management goals. The ranch emphasizes harvesting antlerless elk and white-tailed deer to effectively control big game populations. Access to MPG Ranch is mainly granted to school groups, volunteer projects, and guided tours. To get involved and stay updated on upcoming opportunities, it is recommended to sign up for their newsletter. MPG Wildlife's dedication to conservation creates a legacy of open space for future generations to enjoy and learn from.
