## Description

The Museum of Theatre Arts of Serbia, established in 1950, is a nationally significant cultural institution located in a historical building at 19 Gospodar Jevremova Street, Belgrade. This museum serves as a treasure trove of theatrical heritage, documenting the evolution of theatre in Serbia from the 13th century onward. The collection comprises essential artefacts for both scholarly research and amateur studies, ranging from manuscripts and director's notes to promotional materials, photographs, and audiovisual recordings of performances.

The museum features diverse collections, including scenography and costume sketches, archival documents, and a library with over 8,000 titles. It also offers an online theatre database, Teatroslov, that provides access to digital collections related to Serbian theatre. Beyond preserving history, the museum actively engages the public through educational programs and workshops aimed at all age groups. With a commitment to digitalization and publishing, including the longstanding journal "Teatron," the Museum of Theatre Arts of Serbia is dedicated to fostering appreciation for theatrical arts.
