Description
Máster en Produción Xornalística e Audiovisual (MPXA) is an official master's program at the Universidade da Coruña, co-organized by the Santiago Rey Fernández-Latorre Foundation and the Amancio Ortega Foundation. This program is designed for graduates and professionals interested in the Communication and Audiovisual Production industry. It offers two specializations: Executive Audiovisual Production, which has been in operation since 1997, and Advanced Multiplatform Journalism, which was introduced in 2017.
The MPXA program has 30 available spots, with 15 spots allocated for each specialization and an additional 10 spots reserved for Ibero-American students. All admitted students receive a full scholarship for their first academic year. There are also additional financial assistance options available, including a €3,500 allowance for Ibero-American students.
The program consists of 72 ECTS credits and runs for 9 months, from October to June. Classes are held from Monday to Friday, with morning and afternoon sessions. Additionally, students have the opportunity to participate in a minimum of 2 months of paid internships starting in June.
