Marriage & Relationship Education Center (MREC) is a leading brand based in Westminster, MD, dedicated to strengthening marriages and families through proactive relationship education. Established in 2004, MREC was the first nonprofit marriage initiative in the state, founded by Bill and Anne McKenna. At MREC, our goal is to resource churches by promoting and supporting community-wide implementation of pre-marriage and marriage education programs.

We strive to reduce divorce rates and increase the number of marriage filings in our community. Acting as a regional resource for healthy relationships, we aim to positively impact community well-being. Our mission is to serve the community by providing relationship education that empowers marriages and families to thrive.

We offer experiential programs, events, and resources that educate, equip, and inspire students, couples, and families. We also collaborate with local churches to build effective marriage ministries, addressing the challenges of unhealthy relationships in our culture.
