## Description

MRS Bojkovice is a branch association of the Moravian Fishing Union, serving anglers in Bojkovice and surrounding communities. Founded in 1945 as a local fishermen’s association managing the Olšava River, it has grown from an initial 30 members to a community of around 440, including 60 children. Young members take part in two fishing clubs led by experienced association members.

The association manages two trout fishing grounds: an 11-kilometre section of the Olšava and a five-kilometre section of the Starohrozenkovský Stream, which also includes a 0.35-hectare pond. Its non-trout Olšava 3A grounds cover 0.7 hectares and include three fishing ponds. Most of these waters lie within the White Carpathians Protected Landscape Area. The association regularly stocks its waters with trout, carp, tench, pike-perch, brook trout and grayling. Its website shares news, permit prices, catch summaries, documents, photographs and information about fishing events, volunteer work and local activities. It also provides contact details for the association and its fishing facility in Bojkovice.
