## Description

Moravian Anglers Association, Prostějov Branch, is a local membership organization in Prostějov, Czech Republic, with around 900 members. It brings together people who share an interest in fishing and works to develop and promote angling and fishing sport. The branch also supports extracurricular education for children and young people, particularly in fisheries, nature conservation, landscape care, and environmental protection.

Its responsibilities include managing four fishing districts: the non-trout waters Blata 3, Valová 2, and Hloučela 1, as well as the trout district Hloučela 1P. The branch also looks after several fish-rearing ponds, including Hamry, Otaslavice, Prostějovský, and Dětkovice, and operates the Prostějov fish-breeding facility known as Rybníčky on Mánesova Street. Members and visitors can find information about the fishing districts and the association’s activities through its website. The branch also provides information about becoming an angler and fishing permit collection, arranged individually by telephone. Its activities receive grant support from the City of Prostějov and the Olomouc Region.
